Shimla Airport, situated in Jubbarhatti and around 30 kilometres from Kufri, is the nearest airport. This airport supports smaller planes and has a restricted number of flights each week, but larger planes may land at the Chandigarh airport, which is around 127 kilometres away from Kufri.
Shimla railway station is around 15 kilometers from Kufri and may be reached by taxi or bus. A train to Chandigarh or Ambala station is more convenient, after which you may take a taxi, bus, or even the toy train to Shimla and then to Kufri.
There are regular bus services that run between Kufri, Shimla, and the other cities and towns in the area. Since there are numerous direct buses operating frequently between Delhi and Shimla, you have the option of taking a bus either from Delhi or Chandigarh on your way to Shimla. Taxis are also available at these locations
